WHILE MOST STATES REQUIRE TESTING FOR CANNABINOID POTENCY AND PESTICIDE CONTENT, CANNABIS HAS NO NATIONAL REGULATIONS, WHICH MEANS QUALITY VARIES FROM STATE TO STATE.
Maine law requires that cultivators test samples with an independent laboratory before labeling crops safe for sale. Samples are tested for:
• Potency (THC, THC-A, CBD, CBD-A)
• Homogeneity
• Heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury)
• Residual solvents and pesticides
• Filth and foreign material
• Microbiological impurities
• Flatoxins/ochratoxins
• Water activity and % moisture
Since our beginning, we have asserted that the only way to deliver high-quality cannabis for our patients is to care for and tend to each plant ourselves.
Our cannabis is grown in an indoor, closed-loop facility by staff who must pass through a gowning room — sterilized via ultraviolet light when not occupied — and undergo our sanitation process prior to entering cultivation rooms.
